This hybrid documentary will follow fifth-generation Montana artist Marla Goodman and her theremin-playing alter egos, Polly and Dolly Vinyl — fictional fraternal twin sisters with backstories drawn from Marla’s own life.

Part artist portrait, part mockumentary, and all parts creative play, Polly and Dolly (and Marla) will depict the humor, self-doubt, and self-discovery of an artist at work.
